On my playlist this morning. Doncha love when a song you haven’t heard in a while pops up?

Memory time: when I was 17 and had just moved away to college, before I had even unpacked my stuff the resident manager (my roommate’s uber-hippy cousin, a PhD literature student) was like “We have 2 extra tickets and have to leave now!”
Long story short, I had never heard of Bela until that random day when I ended up stumbling around the Variety Playhouse in Atlanta at his show. I thought Victor Wooten was the most amazing musician I had ever seen. Maybe I still do.

That’s a good memory. I saw him in concert when he opened for Huey Lewis and the News, of all things.

I would too. That might be the first time I would like that song.
